The
Inn at City Hall offers an affordable place to live for individuals who are in
need of daily assistance, yet are not ready to give up their independence. The
historic Augusta City Hall building has been restored and renovated into 31 assisted-living
apartments with its unique features preserved throughout the building. The Inn
sits on the banks of the Kennebec River in the heart of downtown.The Inn is staffed
and managed by MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Long Term Care. Our around-the-clock
staff checks with each resident regularly to ensure they receive the services
they need.Our program includes a customized service package to help you maintain
an independent lifestyle. Services cover many areas including
social and recreational activities, home making, medical assistance, a meals program and more.
You may
choose the privacy of your own apartment, or you are welcome to spend time in
our common areas. The beautiful City Hall stage where John Philip Sousa first
performed "Stars and Stripes Forever" provides a place for community activities
and social events. Our library and dining rooms offer a more intimate space to
meet and socialize, or you may enjoy the views of the Kennebec on our exterior
patio.
