Since 1990, Housing Initiatives of New England Corporation has been serving Maine and New Hampshire's seniors by providing affordable housing solutions. Specializing in housing for independent living, Housing Initiatives of New England Corporation currently owns 15 independent complexes. We serve the following New Hampshire communities: Bethlehem, Durham, Laconia, Littleton, Manchester, Milford, Nashua, Pelham, Rochester, Tamworth and West Swanzey. In Maine, we are serving seniors in Augusta with Kennebec Plaza and the Inn at City Hall as well as Bessey Commons in Scarborough.

Our focus has been to seek out opportunities to develop housing in areas most in need while at the same time providing the highest quality homes and amenities possible. Housing Initiatives of New England Corporation is a non-profit organization based in Portland, Maine and is headed by our President, Cynthia Taylor. Ms. Taylor has over 30 years experience in real estate development, design and construction management. Under her leadership, Housing Initiatives has developed some of the best affordable housing options for seniors in the region.
